A nine-year-old boy, trapped on a street in a residential area, is badly beaten by men on bicycles, including an undercover police officer, for allegedly stealing a bicycle in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, video shows.

The incident, filmed by CCTV, happened on Friday afternoon around 1:00 p.m.

An officer from the 6th Special Armed Forces (SAF) Battalion, Ashok Thapa, has been identified as one of the attackers in the incident, Superintendent of Police (SP) Siddarth Bahuguna said.
