Edmonton police seek dash cam footage as part of suspicious death investigation – Canada Police Report

Edmonton, AB – Police are asking citizens to verify vehicle dash cam footage in connection with a suspicious death in southwest Edmonton.

At approximately 9:55 p.m. on Sunday March 13, 2022, South West Branch Patrol members responded to a weapons complaint at a residence in the Heath Road and Riverbend Road area.

Upon arrival, police discovered Abdullah Shah, 59, outside a residence with life-threatening injuries. The man was taken to hospital by paramedics where he succumbed to his injuries.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, March 18, 2022. The Homicide Section is continuing its investigation.

Investigators are looking to speak to the driver of a light colored Toyota 4Runner who was driving westbound on Heath Road on Sunday March 13, 2022 at 9.54pm.

Detectives are also hoping dash cam footage of the area will aid in their investigation and encourage anyone who was driving in the Riverbend Road and Terwillegar Drive area on Sunday, March 13, between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. , please contact EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
