Police chase after £14,000 of camera gear stolen in Montpellier

Police are trying to track down two men after thieves stole £14,000 worth of camera gear.

The items were taken from a store on Station Road in Montpellier between 2:20 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. on Saturday February 5. Police said the offenders fled towards Cheltenham Road following the robbery.

Officers are appealing for help to locate the two men, described as white, one wearing a dark blue jacket, light jeans and a blue mask, while the other was wearing blue clothes and a hat.

In a statement, Avon and Somerset Police said: “Do you recognize the men in this CCTV image? We want to tell them about the theft of over £14,000 worth of camera equipment from a shop in Station Road, Montpelier, Bristol .

“The robbery occurred between 2.20pm and 2.45pm on Saturday 5th February. The attackers fled towards Cheltenham Road after the incident. The men in the images are white, one wearing a dark blue jacket, jeans light and a blue mask, while the other wore blue clothes and a hat.

“If you recognize either of the men or have any information that could help our investigation, please call us on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5222029701.”
