Prisma Health to Launch Clinically Integrated Physician-Led Network Called inVio | New
GREENVILLE, South Carolina (FOX CAROLINE) – Prisma Health announced the launch of the inVio Health Network as a clinically integrated network led by physicians.
According to Prisma Health, the network combines previous health systems, under a new brand with centralized operations, two separate clinically integrated networks led by physicians, Prisma Health Midlands Network and Prisma Health Upstate Network.
Their healthcare brand claims that invio Health Network is an organization that negotiates value-based contracts with Medicare and other payers to improve patient experience, improve quality, fill gaps in healthcare and be rewarded for reducing and improving the efficiency of health spending.
The integrated network includes more than 5,000 physicians and other health care providers and facilities who are currently part of the two clinically integrated networks affiliated with Prisma Health. They also say it will continue to include Prisma Health facilities, medical groups employed by Prisma Health, independent physician offices, institutions and other healthcare providers within the communities we serve.
The health system says that as the two networks continue to merge into one, the community will begin to see the new name used on insurance provider lists in place of Prisma Health Midlands Network and Prisma Health Upstate Network, as well as on the websites of the insurance network and providers. and various communications with insurers.
The health system indicates that the inVio health network includes 20 hospitals, 807 practice sites and 5,116 providers.
This rebranding and restructuring does not include the practices and physician facilities of Prisma Health.
The transition is expected to be completed by spring 2022.
